I know that article is a composite of things said but it does point out exactly what I said about us needing a speed guy a hell of a lot more than a size guy (barring getting someone with both).

We have three potential options in the size department aside from Colston. We have one potential option besides Cooks in the speed department (unless Saunders is going to be more than a returner). Plus we have size with the TEs.

It's not just about the number of guys though. Cooks is young and is (essentially) proven. Yes, we need speed behind him, but we don't need a "top of the chart" guy in his role. For the "size" guys we have Colston (proven/old), and then a bunch of totally unproven guys. You're talking about banking on Toon, Jones or Coleman to become the top WR option in the passing game. Just risky business IMO.
