it's funny to me that seemingly every time an LSU player is still on the board that he'd be a perfect addition to the saints. not saying any team wouldn't love to have la'el, but it is quite comical at times

That too seems suspicious. Looking for a state with weak extradition laws? J/K

Poor guy...this is just not fair. Should have been the happiest day of his life and he is now gone back to being recruited all over again.

I thought you were going to follow this by the fact that a baby that may have been his kid was murdered, but nope..

he's a poor guy because he's in a position that most men can only fantasize about being in. He's going to get to choose whatever NFL team he wants to play for and they're going to pay him more than what 99% of the population makes.

You have to be a pretty self-righteous buffoon to think that this point needs to be made, as if anyone has ever suggested that the real tragedy is anything other than the shooting and its victims. I haven't heard anyone, anywhere, at any time downplay the tragic injustice of the murders. Having a conversation about the collateral results of the crime, as it pertains to an athlete on a sports message board, is neither immoral nor does it diminish the crime.

Josina Anderson reports paternity test on Mills' child negative for Collins

@JosinaAnderson: Breaking: I've been notified by representatives of OT La'el Collins that his paternity test results were (cont) LINK

Continued... I've been notified by representatives of OT La'el Collins that his paternity test results were negative. Specifically, Collins is not the father of Brittney Mills' child and Collins passed A polygraph test administered by an independent investigator in connection with Mills' case.

Or as was posted before (credible source, I know) he informed them that he didn't want to sign with them and wanted to leave Louisiana

I don't blame him, especially after this situation. At this point, it's just like the college recruiting process.

Some guys wants to stay home, some want to get out there. Lael chose to stay home for college and now he wants to see what else is out there while making good money doing it. Hope he succeeds.

While that info doesn't completely absolve Collins of having anything to do with the murders (nothing outside of finding the perpetrators can), it is definitely a HUGE point in his favor.

I look forward to the tidal wave of mea culpas from the "where there's smoke there's fire" crowd of posters in this and other threads. I'll hang up now and listen.

There has to be some legal recourse to recoup the funds La'el is losing. This is some bullshite. And, yes, there were a lot of people going around Baton Rouge talking about La'el is definitely the father. Damn shame. A bunch of unfounded fat lipping has cost La'el millions.

Absolutely huge. Removes a possible motive and linking Collins to Mills death becomes more attenuated.
