nope but I doubt Seattle gives more than 18m a year to Wilson
The Seahawks will pay him more than that. It's more about the terminology of the contract, the cap space the contract will take up & not how much Wilson receives per year or overall. I still can't believe people don't understand yearly pay or overall contract does not equal what the actual cap hit will be.

quote:No but I can read various reports of what the Seahawks will offer... Apparently you can not....
So you are the Seahawks GM now?
As far as Brees 15-18m will be his base salary and would not include incentives, signing bonus, etc.... so you can laugh all you want but he will get close to 25m

quote:I doubt Seattle goes into the 25-30m dollar range for Wilson.... I just disagree on that point. I could see it being around 20m a year with his signing bonus + incentives but doubt it will be in the 25-30m range.

What your dumbass can't understand is that the potential cap hit means more than whatever the overall contract is. You can be as dumb as you want to. The Saints will have all the leverage in the next contract negotiations. They didn't draft Garrett Grayson for no reason.

First step to a murder investigation is ruling out family members & others close to the victim. This is standard procedure, means nothing.
Correct. So by nature they are all suspects till eliminated.
So, LC won't be ruled out till he speaks with police. That exactly why he should not have ignored their request. And obviously, the nfl agrees.

Cap friendly does not equal Drew being short changed. Your ability to comprehend is terrible.

It's partially about having a quality back up but it's also about leverage. Did you just now start following professional sports?
Lastly, you are forgetting the salary cap has been steadily increasing. There are some who believe the cap will reach $200 million within a few years.

quote:Exactly what OJ must've felt like. He too, had business in Chicago.
What exactly did he do to himself. Let's say you have a business meeting coming up this week. Then today the cops call you and say someone you knew was murdered and would like to talk with you. You, knowing you have no information on the matter say sure when I get back in town I will come and help in any way I can. You have no reason to drop everything in your life for something you have no connection with. Multiply that times 1000 as this was one of the biggest weeks in Collins life. There were events all week for draft attendees. This would make sense for everyone unless you are assuming he is guilty.

The first half of his contract was cap friendly. The back end, not so much as his cap hit increased.

Only fool here is you.

The NFL implemented the salary cap in 1994. It was $34.6 million per team. In 2009, the last capped year under the previous collective bargaining agreement, the salary cap was nearly $128 million. The 2015 cap of $143.28 million is $20 million more than the 2013 cap. So a $200 million cap isn't just conceivable -- it's coming.

That says nothing other than it is coming... coming can mean 6-8 years from now..... not sure what you are trying to prove with that post....

The cap has jumped up 20 million in just the last 2 years. It has to do with the television deals the league has. The cap is set to increase every year over the next several years. It's not just a one or two year spike.

I keep thinking that someone in the Saints organization would have to know someone from BRPD and could get information that would have allowed them to draft him. I think everyone should prepare for the worst and hope for the best!

I don't know. It could easily be that the police have no idea who did it at all.

Yeah, what did he post? Someone must have seen something if they know that someone wanted to borrow her car. I still don't know how they know that. Maybe she was on the phone or something.
