If he was truly worried about either...he calls principal and doesn't engage any verbal confrontation with a complete moron.. Dude is more than likely retired and does it for spare cash or to pass the time

Substitute teacher 9 times out of 10 are disturbed individuals who hate children. This guy was asking for it and he'll be the one not allowed to substitute again. She will be suspended for 3 days. Who loses here? THE ADULT. This guy didn't realize that he was making the situation 100x worse with his stupid comments and egging it on. He's lucky that worthless girl and her classmates didn't buck his arse to the floor.
Yes, the girl is a piece of crap for talking to an adult like that, but she likely doesn't come from a 2 parent household with a decent income. This is what happens when people reproduce and don't really like each other.
