Adams is killing it right now.

They did "16 Days" together at last night's show. Ryan did "summer of '69" acoustic also, which was awesome because it was at The Ryman where he got the fan kicked out for requesting it years ago. It's cool to see two chronically tortured artists in such good places. Last night was an all time great show.

Some of the best singer songwriters alive right now IMO.

I saw it live. As well as a secret show at Grimey's.

Nice!
My favorite Ryan performance...
Several years back now at Cain's in Tulsa. Drove over from Northwest Arkansas with a car load of friends. We got in, found some seats right up front, and I headed off for the beer stand. I got about halfway there and I heard a voice come over the mic and say that he had been given permission to open up for The Cardinals that night if nobody minded. I thought "I fricking know that voice" and I whirled around and it was Ryan. Hauled arse back to my seat. He did an solo acoustic opening set of unreleased solo material that he was just starting to play around with. A lot of it ended up on Cardinology. One of them, though, was a tune called Broken Arrow, and I thought it was the greatest thing I'd ever heard. Of course, it remains unreleased, and as far as I know that's the only time he ever performed it.
Anyway, after that I continued my trek to the beer stand and grabbed a Heineken keg can for each hand before the whole band came out.

Summer of '69 cover
Finally watched this. I actually shed tears. My friends and I have followed Adam's career since Whiskeytown. We've sort of watched in a combination of bewilderment, disappointment and awe at both his antics and prolific, uneven musical output.
Watching this, though, it feels like catharsis. Like he's put a lot of shite behind him and matured as an artist and a human being. I admit that I shed a few tears of happiness on his behalf while watching it.

Incredible shows...not sure which night I prefer honestly, both were amazing. I managed to snag a poster of the night he played Summer of '69.
Jason Isbell was a big hit both nights, which is to be expected in Nashville I reckon.
