When gas was expensive I was at about $1k a month. Premium in my car, wifes car and two kids cars. Only premium in mine.

holy frick.

I bet we spend less than $50/month on gas.

I'm lucky too. Unless I take a trip, I'm pretty damn close to $50 or less than that a month.

Love living city/commuter life for that reason alone.

The one great thing about my job is I make $0.575 per mile I drive from the second I leave my house till I get back. Obviously cancels out all work related driving and pays for all additional driving I do throughout the month.

Premium got up to $4.50 or so here. At a tank a week that alone was about $350 a month. Gas costs are way down for me now. The kids buy their own and my wife only fills up every couple of weeks.

I still fill up close to once a week in my new car but I own my business and appointments are money and I like money.
