Sunday: run 2 miles / do 50 pull ups, 100 pushups, 150 air squats / run 2 more miles / then do abs

good for him

but this is very much a crossfit type workout, so no idea why the shot at crossfit

yea it's a variation of the murph that I added in. but only because it's just running, push ups, pull ups, and air squats.

I'm not a fan of a lot of the crossfit exercises. most of them are too hard on your joints. crossfit in theory is really good. the workout routine I designed that kills copy and pasted is a lot like cross fit. only it doesn't have many of the traditional crossfit exercises that are hard on your joints . It has a combination of weight lifting and a lot of cardio. which is what I wanted, not just weights and not just cardio. wanted the best of both worlds.

How is running 16 miles a week not hard on your joints? I guess you could argue a box jump is harder on your joins if you are doing a quick rebound but most of the movements in crossfit are standard barbell movements.

Nice work and all but not sure where the notion of "achieving physical fitness without crossfit is impossible" came from. Any idiot could tell you diet and exercise will give anybody results.
