Is anyone else watching it? I'm completely hooked, but I can't find a single other soul who seems to even know what it is.

I watch it but I'm not hooked. If they cancelled it I wouldn't be upset. I'm kind of watching now just to see where it goes.

Even though I like it, I'm not sure they can carry it on for much longer than a couple of seasons. There's only so much you can do with end-of-days crazies.
But that's what I thought about The Following.

I've seen the first two episodes and have the rest on my DVR. I enjoyed the first two, but not enough to add it to my must watch weekly rotation.

I've only caught the first 3 episodes but it seems like classic Tim Kring and I plan to catch up online soon. My wife HATED his last show with Jack Bauer and the autistic kid, but I found it pretty enjoyable. The way he interweaves the supernatural and mysticism with every day life is always well done.

I don't watch too much TV. I enjoy this show, though.

I like it but I also love the subject matter. I read tons of fictional books like this show so it's right up my alley. It helps that I'm pretty familiar with a lot of the stuff in the show...stones and high priest plate, Digging under the Temple Mount, Essenes, ect.
My wife got bored by it quickly having no interest in the subject matter.

when they brought back ole red head and said that she was a plant to get in his head I immediately got hooked in pretty good....I still think she is there to just screw with him by whomever hired her from the start....still playing the part to screw with our boy.

Me, too. And I'm not so sure the mastermind is who we are supposed to think it is...

Overview of the program?
Here is the premise from IMDb: "Peter, an FBI agent stationed in Jerusalem who, while investigating a murder of a young female archaeologist, uncovers a conspiracy 2000 years in the making."
Basically, it seems ultra-conservative branches of Christianity and Judaism are working together to set into motion events that will bring about the rebuilding of Solomon's Temple. Lots of implications: Coming of the Messiah for the Jews, second coming of Christ for the Christians, not to mention that rebuilding the Temple would mean destroying the Dome of the Rock. Adding to the mix is the involvement of several political figures.
