Show me where anyone even remotely suggested anything close to that. The OP wasn't even about JJ being great, just that he has the program moving forward.

Popular to media portrayal, suicide in an option for some.

That said, LSU has 20 more wins in CJJ's 1st 3 seasons than Trent's final 3 seasons including 19 more SEC wins. Losing in the NIT compared to losing in the NCAA is night and day. I have a hard time envisioning you being able to walk upright.

Jones has a lot of good qualities. He cares, he can recruit and the players seem to like him.

Compare it to Trent Johnson, who just did not give a crap. Johnson could have sent this program back a lot further then most people realize.

Jones has revitalized the interest in basketball at LSU. He deserves credit for that.
