I think when Corbello is on, she is probably better at this point. And from getting some glimpses behind the program doors, Corbello is preferred. Her issue is she walks to many batters. Selman has the ability to be a star. Like Corbello, when she is on, she is great. When she isn't its pretty bad. To be fair to Selman her defense didn't help her out much last game. All things aside, they are both solid, we happen to be in the most talented conference in the entire country. There is never a week off. I am still confident in Torina turning them around. All will be good.

In a matter of 24 hours you went from "next year will be her year" to "I don't think she will pitch much if any next year". Which one is it? Personally, I would say that Selman has more talent, i.e. a higher ceiling. I do believe one is leaving next year. Which one, I don't know. I think either could move down I-10W closer to home and start for one of the D1 programs that way. The thing about it is, Corbello came to LSU with a fan base. She is the only Louisiana pitcher on the team, one of 2 Louisiana starters. If she leaves, and the impression is she was pushed out, it won't sit well with some fans.
