It has less to do with breed and more to do with pedigree. The problem with pits is that many have a bloodline with a recent history of being bred specifically for violence and fighting.
From a bloodline standpoint, there are some great Pits out there, but there are also many bad ones.
You can be a great owner but if your dog had a bloodline built for violence (like many pits do), you're just fighting nature. The biggest problem is that most owners don't know anything about their dog's bloodline. And many Pit owners sought the dogs specifically for their aggressive nature.

Whatever, they are all loaded weapons. Left alone with babies some will go off and some will not. You wouldnt leave a loaded (or even unloaded ) Glock with a kid, why would you leave a Pitbull?
