For the record, I don't like pitbulls. I think they are trashy dogs for trashy people and I wouldn't care if the dogs and their owners were euthanized.

But to say ALL pitbulls are "loaded weapons," makes you look borderline retarded. Through selective breeding, scientists were able to fully domesticate the Silver Fox in 50 years, but you think pitbulls have some kind of magical spell over them making them immune to selective breeding?

It has less to do with breed and more to do with pedigree. The problem with pits is that many have a bloodline with a recent history of being bred specifically for violence and fighting.

From a bloodline standpoint, there are some great Pits out there, but there are also many bad ones.

You can be a great owner but if your dog had a bloodline built for violence (like many pits do), you're just fighting nature. The biggest problem is that most owners don't know anything about their dog's bloodline. And many Pit owners sought the dogs specifically for their aggressive nature.
