I may be in the market for an F-250 over the next few months

im looking at a 2012-2014 ish
I remember reading about the disaster of the diesel engine a few years ago that only lasted about 100k.
are there anythings of that nature that I need to be avoid in the year models im looking at? are there years to avoid?

After seeing what the used ones are going for I'd be looking for a new one

The 6.7 is the best diesel engine available today.
You'll read of a few reports of problems, but most of these were in the 350/450 trucks.
There is one landscaper that had an issue and he posts on every forum, everywhere.
Solid motor, quiet and durable, with excellent economy.
