But yet every day people give thanks to Jesus. Your statement is wrong! Does people give thanks to ghengis or even think of him today even close to Jesus?

The thing I don't get about arguing that Genghis Khan being the biggest influence on history is this. They base their assumption on the fact he conquered a huge empire, the biggest in history but one that also was relegated to the history books centuries ago. But if this is your benchmark, creating a huge empire, then he is a poor choice. A better choice would be the founder of Communism, Karl Marx. The system he founded has conquered more territory and controlled far more people than the Khans ever dreamed of doing. Here is a map of all the countries that are now, or once were controlled by Communists...



So even by their own criteria, the Khan falls short.
