I'm not so sure about that. There's absolutely no doubt about Alexander the Great, Aristotle, Julius Caesar or Cleopatra to name a few biggies from prior to Jesus. Interestingly, we have more hard data confirming Pontius Pilate's actual existence.
But yeah, there's just as much ambiguity about Jesus' next door neighbor when he was eight or whatnot.

Your standards are either much lower for those you mentioned, or your only evidence for Jesus is the Bible.
