I guess I can kind of see where he's coming from. I remember hanging out at a friends house when I was in early middle school. My dad was friends with my friend's dad. My friends parents started playing home movies from when we were like 2 or 3. I said, "That's cool. My parents don't have any stuff like that. They didn't take any pictures and video of me when I was little". Basically gave a vibe that my parents didn't give a shite about me as a kid . When my dad came pick me up the offered copies of those tapes, and my dad was like, "we have cabinets full of that crap, he just didn't know about them". So as a kid, you can say something that makes a situation seem way worse than it is. Not saying all of the above cases are like that. But to a kid, sometimes going to bed early is literally the end of the freakin' world.

I'm sure some of those exist. "I wish I didn't have to go to bed as early". Those notes pictured, I'm certain, don't represent EVERY student.
