3mbps is pretty slow. On top of that, if they're saying 3Mbps it might be more realistic to expect 1.5Mbps or less depending on your connection type is. It may be enough for what you're looking for, but it is very slow by today's standards.

Thats why I'm with cox now. Paid for 6mps got around 3. Right at 50 with Cox
