I was told by someone in the athletic ticket dept that they will decide today around noon whether to cancel or play the spring game as scheduled. The rain forcast and player safety is the concern.
They are not cancelling. The option is to move the game into the indoor field, which would be closed to public.

Sec Network can still get cameras in there though right? They did it at pro day.

So basically it will be the same as all the other scrimmages.
Well, at least they'll be able to have a real scrimmage as opposed to a vanilla showcase for the public.
Maybe they could allow one or two reporters inside so at least the fans can get some less filtered news about the scrimmage.

Les:
"Both qb's threw some touchdowns and interceptions. More touchdowns than interceptions... I think. Blah, blah, blah. Some real improvement in the throws, but we need to improve more."

It may be closed to the public if that happens, but it will still be able to be televised. I already saw Duke do this earlier in the Spring.
