Final velocity = 0
initial velocity = 90 miles per hour = 40.2336 meters per second
distance = ?

-(40.2336^2)/(2 x distance) = 882.5985 meters per second

882.5985/9.80665=90 G's

(Meters per second/ Meters per second per G)

Someone better at math figure out the distance Nascar is using to claim the 90 G's...

1 G would be accelerating from 9.8 m/s to 0 m/s in 1 second.

90 mph = 40.23 m/s

90xg = (40.23 m/s)/(t)

g = 9.8 m/s

t = 0.0456 s

That means he would have hit the wall and accelerated from 90 mph to 0 mph in 0.045 seconds.

Seems a little high of a number but I haven't seen the wreck.
