But both switched because of the endorsement, not because they felt like Nike had better equipment. Jordan has publicly stated that he wants to choose his endorsement based on the equipment not the other way around like Rory and Tiger did...and again, it's WHY he signed with UA.

For example, Jordan isn't going to switch putters for an endorsement deal. Like both Rory and Tiger did.

I just don't see him being the pilot person to get their equipment arm up and running. Maybe 5-10 years from now.

These guys have whatever fricking clubs/putters they want molded with a Nike check on them.

You are assuming Nike knows how to make the exact same club titleist does, they dont. Sure, the pros are using personally molded clubs. But if you are using personally molded titleist, and then change to Nike, they will differ

That was my point. The clubs Tiger is playing are custom made to his specifications. Nike isn't giving him a driver on its way to Dick's.

Where I think it makes the biggest difference is in the balls. Nike's 20XI balls were shite and really opened the door for Taylormade to get some market share. If I'd of had to switch from a pro v1 to a 20xi, I'd of been pretty pissed.
