I wouldn't be upset. He's going to be a very good player IMO. I just don't know if I wanna go this high on cornerback AGAIN. I feel like Scherff and Collins solidify the OL and are a sure thing. After them, there's a pretty big drop off on OL. CB and other positions don't have that kind of drop off so if we have the chance at either, I'd prefer OL.

2014 2 26 58 Stanley Jean-Baptiste Nebraska
2012 5 27 162 Corey White Samford
2011 3 24 88 Johnny Patrick Louisville
2010 1 32 32 Patrick Robinson Florida State
2009 1 14 14 Malcolm Jenkins Ohio State
2009 4 16 116 Tracy Porter Indiana
2007 5 8 145 David Jones Wingate
2006 2 11 43 Roman Harper Alabama
2006 6 5 174 Josh (Bernard) Lay Pittsburgh
Only one in the Payton era drafted anywhere near this high. He was projected as a safety even at the time of the draft as well. PRob marginally 1st Rd and was considered a stretch then.
Adono, methinks a #13 selection top CB should be able to contribute immediately. Thing is he would have little pressure on the learning curve as a #3CB.
