Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson says he’s still considering playing baseball — and not just for a cameo appearance in spring training.
Wilson told Bryant Gumbel of HBO that it’s still his dream to be a two-sport athlete.
“You never want to kill the dream of playing two sports,” Wilson said. “I would honestly play two sports.”
Asked what’s stopping him, Wilson said, “I don’t know. I may push the envelope a little bit one of these days.”

Didn't he already wash out of the minors while in college?

Could be a negotiation tactic.

A very stupid one.
Everybody knows he's not going to the bigs and every little bit of assumed wanderlust just gives the Seahawks an excuse to not pay him top dollar or max out his guaranteed money.

He was mediocre as a low A ball player in the Rockies system in 2010 and 2011. It would be very unlikely if he made it.

That's what I thought
I think the dog and pony show that the Rangers put him through every year in spring training might be getting to his head a little

"Omg he's not dedicated."
"Total lack of respect for the game."
*two weeks later*
"Omg definitely. Players these days are too pussy to play two sports."
"Omg I wish more players did it."

Yeah you're right. It's probably as simple as he responded to a question.
