Pretty sure anyone would take two QBs who were NFL draft picks over two QBs who weren't.

2008 - Redshirt freshman
2009 - True sophomore
2010 - shite QB
2011 - SEC Champion QB
2012 - Future NFL QB
2013 - Future NFL QB
2014 - True sophomore

This statement makes no sense. You would take 2 QBs from two different teams who played at two different times over 2 out 3 QBs that LSU has produced during that period? Huh?

Why not just say you would take Mettenberger over the best QBs that Florida and Alabama have produced during that period? Just compare the best QBs from each team. Mett spent 3 years at LSU.

Zach being the only exception, even with two #1 WRs Zach couldn't get better than 10-3.

That's because it takes both offense and defense to win football games. LSU gave up 44 to UGA, 38 to Alabama, and 27 to Ole Miss, as well as 27 to Arkansas and TCU even though they won.
