Looking at a house there and wondering if anyone here lives there. If so, what's your thoughts? Pros? Cons?

I throw awesome house parties when my parents are gone.

I don't live there, but I've heard it's a nice neighborhood.
Not sure how the proposed Pecue/I-10 interchange will affect it. There was recently something in the paper about neighborhood representatives voicing their opinions on the interchange. LINK

Recently moved to woodridge and love the neighborhood. I don't have kids yet, but I have no worries about raising a family here.

Don't live there but it is part of our school district so I know a lot of people in that neighborhood. They all like it and it seems like it has a ton of kids. I get the impression that the neighborhood kids play together and that it is a place where you get to know your neighbors.

I agree awesome neighborhood. Sure hope the Pecue expansion doesn't ruin it.

I lived in BR 30 years ago. Where is this?

Between pecue and Briarwood. It actually connects Briarwood to Pecue.

South BR. Pecue Ln now goes all the way from Highland Rd to Airline, over I-10. Woodridge subdivision is off Pecue close to Airline, right near the Price LeBlanc dealership and the new Woman's Hospital. They're supposed to put another entrance/exit to I-10 at Pecue Ln sometime in the next few years.

It's a nice neighborhood. There is not any crime, but don't live on the main road. People drive like idiots and are constantly taking out people's mailboxes.

Have a few friends in the neighborhood. Homes are small and not much yard for the price.

That's actually a nice area.
What do they plan on developing along Pecue when the interchange is finally in place? Hopefully office buildings and not more retail or apartments.

Bunch of looooong roads, similar looking landscape, and slight variations in curb appeal. It's pretty much just really expensive spec houses. I looked at 4 houses there a few months ago and there were massive cracks in sheet rock and foggy windows in every one of them.
It's a decent neighborhood as far as quality of neighbors but things are way overpriced. If you find something you like, make sure you get a good home inspection.

Very meh for houses that are over 330k. Too little for too much.

What schools are tied in with that neighborhood?
