re: LSU Recruiting shifting thier focus for QB's (ESPN)

Until LSU starts looking for traditional pro-style QBs, they are not shifting their focus. Miles will have to change his offense to get the most out of these DT qbs, but we know with the hiring of Cam that this will most likely not happen in the near future.

LSU went undefeated with a garbage OC and a decent out-of-highschool 4-star Jarrett Lee in his SR year. So with the game experience and lil talent you made something of an offense. Mettenberger (pro-style qb) led one of the better offenses in LSU history. National championship years came from pro-style qbs that weren't great by any means, just didn't give the ball away.

So unless CLM reshifts his recruiting to pro-style qbs which can utilize the great WR and RB prospects we recruit, we are in the same boat. Focusing on recruiting better DT QBs isn't going to fix putting the square peg in the round hole like everyone has been saying.
