Those offenses ask their quarterbacks to be more than a game manager. I think our quarterbacks know that as long as they successfully hand the ball off to LF and company and do not turn over the ball, they will play alot. I guess it just depends on what kind of quarterback you aspire to be. Many of these quartbacks come out of spread offenses in high school and want to throw it 50-60 times a game and make plays, and therefore look for college programs that will let them do this.
