Best road trip/vacation I've been on was 2+ months of driving/ferrying around SE Alaska in Rogers neck of the woods. Hands down, best trip ever.

Been on road trips but now prefer to fly to a major city, rent a car and do a "regional road trip" then fly back home. Yes, , southern Utah and northern California area are very beautiful.
