Don't see it anywhere but has anyone heard the news on Latz from the media presser from PM. Looks like it is highly unlikely he will pitch this season. Still having some problems with elbow.

The Advocate reported last week that he was still having elbow problems. This is really troublesome because the surgery is at least a one-year type deal. Which means he wouldn't start throwing again until a year from now. Making his ability to impact the staff even more minimal than it is for this year.

It's not looking good for his LSU career at this point.

I didn't know they were thinking about getting him TJ... Think he's got something different going on.

I thought it was a stress reaction in his elbow, at least that's what I read somewhere awhile back.

Yea it's an elbow problem. He's not getting TJ. I think it's just a matter of waiting a long period of time for the fluid to leave his elbow. I was hoping for big things from this kid. I hope he can make an impact next year because pitching will definitely have to be stout with all the hitters we are losing.
