i sprouted 4 trees off a relatives tree and they are growing like gangbusters in my yard in hammond now.

they are 3 yrs old now and about 12' tall. the biggest one just started to flower this past winter but not enough to fruit. i'm hoping this will be the year

The article says seedlings take 10 years to produce fruit... It makes me sad that peiple with trees rarely pick them
