40-50 HR would have led the league the past few years by a decent margin.

20 HR is a power hitter these days. This isn't the 90s anymore where 20 HRs are expected from everyone except the 8 hole and pitcher.

We've seen two players top 50 in recent years Davis-53 in 2013, and Bautista-54 in 2010. With a handfull 40 since 2010 (Puljos, Granderson, Cabrera, Hamilton, Braun, Dunn, Encarnacion.

Cruz led the league last year with 40. But I agree for the most part the days of seeing over 50 are likely behind us due to the crackdown on PEDs.
