My son who is slated to attend LSU 2016 has had the worst luck. 2 weeks ago he totals his car thankfully being OK. He dropped his IPhone which cost 100 to get repaired. Some good news happens when he gets a job only to be robbed at gunpoint on his second day there. Yesterday he is diagnosed with Mono and must sit out the Soccer city league. I don't know what I can say to him that will encourage his luck. Anyone experience this?

He could have been rejected by LSU, died in the crash, not been able to afford the phone, and diagnosed with bacterial meningitis. You could say that given the circumstances someone is looking out for him.

Generic quote from somewhere...not mine.

"sometimes God calms the storms. Sometimes God lets the storm rage and calms his child."

If he'd bit it in the crash, that would've negated all the subsequent stuff in your list and made the admissions decision moot.
