If you think Cal is an overrated/bad coach, you're an idiot

Of all the dumb sports opinions to be had, this one might be the most ridiculous. Which says a lot. And it seems to be somehow popular, as in there is a strong contingent of people with thoughts in this camp.
He's been at UK six years. One elite eight, 3 final fours, and a championship. Before that, a final four for UMass and Memphis.
He's being ridiculed for a 37-1 season. Lol. Are we serious?
GTFO with the "he should win", "he has more talent". He's a fricking college coach, 75% of their job as a coach is to get talent. That in itself makes him an amazing coach.
And he wins games. Results above speak for themselves. The tourney is set up so that the best team doesn't always win. One loss, you're done. It's a fluky format. They played a lights out and great Wisconsin team and lost. There's no shame in that.
The standards he's held to are ridiculous. Coach K and Duke have one less McDonalds All American than UK this year, btw. How come it's okay for them to lose a game?

Honestly this whole "one and done" super team philosophy of his is just something that he started doing when he got to UK. And who could blame him when it won him his only championship.
People seem to forget that his great UMass and Memphis teams had plenty of upperclassman and quality college role players that he developed.

Yes a booster paid Marcus Camby. Also, Rose had someone take his ACT for him. This completely negates coach Cal's wins to get them there because clearly it's his fault for both and this stuff never happens anywhere else.

Dekker was a role player that played lights out the last 2 games in the tourney. This is Kaminsky's team. Dekker can shoot but what position would he play in the NBA? He is too small to play PF and not quick enough or skilled enough to guard SFs. He's a great collegiate player though.

Overrated is relative and fluid. So if somebody said he is a top 5 coach, he would be reasonably rated. If somebody said he wasn't a top 10 coach, he would be underrated. If somebody said he's the best coach, he would be overrated.
