Give a peek at the Nautic Star 1810 or 1910. My brother has had the older version 1900 for about 10 years now, and I've spent lots of hours in the marsh and in Toledo with him. Been a very good boat for him.

Check out Lowe, tons of options come standard
They have a new 20' bay boat out. Bought one about a month and half ago. Love it so far. it's alot like the Xpress 20 but has a better ride. I upgraded to 150 mercury and stainless package and spent less than 30K.

Thx man. Could you email some pics at LSUlefty@gmail.com ? Did you add seats? What does it draft?
Yeah, I'll send some pics your way tonight.
The specs say it drafts 8"....I've been in 6"-8" with a soft marsh bottom.
The boat is pretty light, so I've never been too worried about getting stuck because we could just push/rock it off but I've never had to.
I usually use the boat to run out of Venice to Chandy/Breton. It does the job well...obviously a bigger boat would make it an easier ride when the weather gets choppy but I've felt safe and secure. It also has surprising range...there's a 40 gal gas tank. I've run 60-70 mile round trips and didn't even reach 1/2 a tank.
I didn't add any seats to it....never realy saw the need.
I'd also look at Panga Marine...more expensive boats but very versatile and exceptionally seaworthy.
