When people say the solar panels they have paid for themselves in 5 to 7 years they are only talking about the 10 to 20% of the pricetag THEY paid for them. The 80% of the rest of the cost was paid for by taxpayers ( yes I know they are taxpayers too). Am I the only one that thinks that solar panels actually pay for themselves in 25 to 35 years? I'm sure nothing is going to break in 25 to 35 years right. I agree that the gov't can't maintain roads now can you imagine maintaining solar panels roads. Holy Crap.
