I don't think its noticeable. 15-20 pounds, sure. Just can't see the 5-10 pound weight gain or loss as far as being noticed.

Maybe it applies to more people than others depending on their height and weight. I'm 6' 165# and I can see it in my face when I was 10 pounds heavier
