You're talking about nearly a 20 percent improvement in completion percentage and over 100 percent improvement YPG.
Here's what we need:
1) Consistency - the 250 yard game against Wisconsin was great, but we absolutely cannot have games where we throw for less than 100 yards. If we can get about 150-180 passing yards a game, we'll be golden.
2) Accuracy - Not sure where you got the 20 percent marker. If our QB is able to avoid wild fluctuations and consistently put up the numbers we had from the position in our 7 wins, I'm looking at about a 5% increase in completions (the equivalent of one pass a game) as minimal improvement.
3) Dual-Threat Ability - Notice I said 200 total yards, not necessary passing. The advantage of having the QBs on our roster is their mobility, including the ability to extend plays and to pick up 1st downs if and when our receivers are covered.
4) Maturation - also: Knowledge - the ability to execute the offense and make sound decisions; movement in the pocket, checking down to secondary options, throwing the ball away instead of forcing the pass or taking a sack.
