Do NOT use muratic acid. It chemically dissolves the bonds of the cement molecules in the top layer of the concrete and you will end up with an accidental exposed aggregate finish.
Oddly, this stuff works wonders in cleaning a concrete surface. As always, try it in a small, inconspicuous area first and then make your own judgement.

Maybe if you used it without diluting it according to instructions. Diluted to 1:32 (half-cup acid to a gallon of water) will clean without etching the concrete. Can also use citric acid or phosphorous acid in higher concentrations works and is a bit safer to handle.
