basically that we are too stressed out from the "opportunity loss" we incur when we make a choice. Like if I buy a sony radio I can't help but feel some regret that I didn't get a pioneer...and this effect is compounded by the multitude of choices that we make every day and causing depression, suicide, blah blah blah
