I've never used it personally, but after a quick glance-over that just looks like a pure 3D modeling program. It won't really have anything in the way of effects, sound, etc. If you are looking to make video clips and what not you really cant beat After Effects. It really is what you are looking for. For 3D check out Blender. Its a powerful 3D program, and its completely free.
