I think a reason to wait is bc some of these playoff teams can pick up this "clutter" which may be some decent veterans.

So you want to just drop guys after the playoffs and not fill their spots? is that right
Posted on 9/1/15 at 10:37 am to MrWiseGuy
Yeah, my expectations after the draft were that I'd hopefully make a run at the end of this year with my prospects coming to the majors to sneak into the playoffs, and that next year would be the start of a good run. Just a little ahead of schedule.

If I wanted to drop one or two guys and not fill their spot, wait till February to see what's happening. Or maybe sooner if I read something I like. Just asking what the harm would be.

Someone has to run checks and balances when you gotta absentee "commissioner" who participates in leagues when he feels like it, mate

Yea drop your whole team if you want. Just wait until the offseason

there is absolutely no reason to do it.
I can just see a scenario where him being allowed to do this gives one of you morons a loophole to bend a rule later on.
What is the fricking point of dropping someone to just have an empty roster spot?
Posted on 9/1/15 at 12:10 pm to rondo
Just didn't see a big deal about dropping someone and not replacing them immediately with someone else I don't want during the offseason.
If you're worried it can create loopholes, then fine.
