I'm honestly about to just save this into a word document.
1) Ian Rapoport (the NFL's personal leak machine) has stated that only one ball was 2 psi below the mandated amount, and that was the ball the Colts provided.
2) The chain of evidence for the intercepted Patriots ball is in massive dispute. The defender who intercepted the ball didn't even know it was heavily deflated, and it was on the Colts sideline for a while before they turned the ball over to the officials.
3) The NFL had to fire a league official because he was selling footballs on the side, which further destroys any sort of chain of evidence with these footballs. It's tough to punish a team for lack of taking care of the balls when the league does it.
4) The internal controls for the non-existent ball procedures were pretty awful too.
