Has some technique to work on, but potential is there
Bust off ball, keeping feet moving, coming up a bit quickly out of stance
That player would be best serve to work on his burst

Here's an interview Jimmy had with Sullivan - LINK Looks like both sides are open to him playing some defense.

Dylan Moses, RB/LB, Baton Rouge (La.) University Lab (Class of 2017) - Moses lived up to his billing as the top player in the country in the class of 2017 and could have earned an invite to The Opening as either a running back or a linebacker. He was the best at both positions on the day.

Is Moses going as a RB or LB?

Hopefully he keeps growing and becomes a DE

With a handful of other Louisiana natives also expected to be in attendance, Moses said Tiger fans should expect some recruiting to take place.
"We are going to spend some time together, and I know we will have a great time," Moses said. "And we will try to keep it rolling for Louisiana. I'll probably end up doing some recruiting. As for who, we will see."

Sullivan will be 6'5 240 when he gets on campus. He's definitely gonna play DE imo

Elite linebackers in Louisiana are few and far between. I honestly hope he doesn't get much bigger than Beckwith because we could use playmakers in that linebacking corps.
Based on his current frame, I can't imagine him getting big enough to be an every down defensive end. Some guys just mature far quicker than their peers. I am willing to bet that Moses Jr. will prove to be a perfect example of this particular phenomenon.

An elite defensive end is far more disruptive than a linebacker. And we will probably take enough linebackers this year so it wont be a need next signing class.

As we learned from the 2012 recruiting class, you can never have too many linebackers.
That year we signed:
Kwon Alexander
Lorenzo Phillips
Ronnie Feist
Lamar Louis
Deion "Debo" Jones
Trey Granier
And look what happened...Phillips and Granier transferred, Alexander left his junior year, and Feist has never proven to be as productive as originally projected.
Considering that Steele plans on implementing some four-linebacker personnel groupings, it would be wise to not only sign at least five linebackers this year, but they should still sign several more in 2017.

The state is absolutely stacked with interior lineman. Given that Orgeron prefers larger defensive ends (275-295), it's more than likely that they might try and slide one of the more athletic pass rushers outside.
Moses Jr. would still have to put on another 35-40 pounds and a couple of inches in order to fill that "elite defensive end" frame.
LSU has had its fair share of All-American defensive linemen, but only a handful of top-level linebackers; but when we have had such linebackers, our defense becomes truly special.
