How does everybody boil their onions? Do you peel them then throw them in loose? Do you just drop the mesh bag they come in straight into the boil? Or do you peel them(the outer layer) and place them into a boil bag? What is everybody's technique with hotdogs? When do you put them in? Do you out them in loosely or in a boil bag?
Peel the outer layer on the onions. I've just thrown them in when being lazy though. And garlic bulbs. Just throw the hot dogs in. They really are damn good in crawfish boil. I like them better than sausage. Mushrooms are a good addition too, but those sumbitch's will soak up some heat!!! Have tried artichokes. Meh, I'll pass on those.
