Mett, Jlee, and JJ all had good senior years.

When did i say he was perfect or even good on 1/9? Why do you just make shite up?

What does that have to do with the NC game??????

Because Flynn had nothing to do with LSU making the BCS title game. Pitt beating West va and RP winning the seccg bailed Flynn out of losing his last regular season game that in any other season ends lsu's chance at a national title.

How is ranking a qb on his entire career over 1 game, reaching?
Thats what people with a brain do

If Miles is happy with a guy completing 48% of his passes for 90 ypg, then we will be getting a new coach soon or Harris is truly horrible. Either way, no reason to worry

Why do people think things stay the same for every player? It is unbelievable the amount of stupidity not only from LSU fans, but media as well. Is Jennings stuck in time, after only two years is he completely done with improving at all? After one year of starting, is he completely unable to take the next step? Well if you let morons on here tell it, there is no way for him to improve because that's reality. That's how everything works. If you don't get something after two years, then you will never get it according to the rant.

Wow, well I'm not a moron, and I believe he can and will improve. Does he improve enough to take us to a national championship, it depends. From Fournette, Jennings, and Harris's mouths, they are doing some of new things in the passing game. We'll need championship play from other players, but it's not impossible.

Either way, I want good QB play from Jennings & Harris, I'm not going to sit here and say the season is over until I see Jennings or Harris (whomever starts) look as bad as they did last year.

Quite possibly the best one sentence analysis in the history of The Rant.

That sentence is great of youre ignorant. Only a dumbass would be looking forward to getting rid of the most successful coach in lsu history.

JaxTiger10, I've read over my previous post a couple of times and cannot find where I "...would be looking forward to getting rid of the most successful coach in LSU history".

The intent of my response was to agree with another poster's prediction of a potential outcome or perception of a stark reality.

Now who's ignorant? Or, in this case, just plain dumb. (Hint: it's not me.)

I'd say that GOAT pass to Byrd vs AU had a lot to do with it. He didn't have a great year, but had the third highest passing total in the past 9 years. Mett had the other two. He was definitely better than JJ or Lee.

No shite. Miles tenure has proven that 2014 was outlier not the norm. So agreeing that our future looks stark is ignorant.

Mett was pretty good.

We've had over a dozen misses since Miles got here though.

I agree but this notion that JJ or Jlee sucked their entire career is bullshite. We finally saw truly bad qb play last year.

JJ and Lee at most SEC schools most likely would have been career backups unless they had developed better

I think both wouldve been more successful had they not had Crowton at the beginning.

Possibly. Unfortunately we'll never know. It sucks how their last two games marred an otherwise good season.

Name one 4 year qb under Les that actually showed marked improvement from Freshman to Senior year

Let's start by naming all of the 4 year QBs under Les and then determine those who improved.

..... how many are there?

Once again you display a weakness in reading comprehension: Allow me to point out for you that the "stark reality" refers to the ability of Harris should he not surpass Jennings as the starter.

He spent one rs year at UGA. He wasn't recruited my right either. He was already a fan and his mom works there. He spent more time under miles than any other coach in college. 1 year at UGA, 1 year at juco, 3 years at LSU. And honestly as a rs, he probably wasn't getting many snaps in practice at UGA.

I'd say Miles had to recruit him the hardest.

The best player will play. And, whoever that player is, he'll be better than last year.

Also, it must be very encouraging to our possible starting QB (or, at least, our #2 QB) to see such support in this thread. 47 downvotes, SMH.

God forbid Jennings actually earn the spot - even then, he couldn't earn you worthless fans' support.

I think most of the downvotes were because the OP cherry picked a quote & made a thread with it just to get a reaction.
