That's 3 losses on the years but we're not praising him for the wins. Seems hypocritical.
I haven't been on here criticizing for the other losses. Two of them were "just basbeall" and 2 of them were on him. Last night especially. He literally did not do one thing right last night. he fricked it up big time and he makes a million dollars a year and I'm gonna call him out on it.

Paul did everything in his power to :give the game away. How does he make so many pitching mistakes with Dunn on staff. Does Dunn get any input when to start warming someone or is that forbidden?

How yoh idiots can't see how that game is 100% on Mainieri is beyond me. I really don't get it.

Glad we've got a big swinging dick around here to keep these overpaid buffoons in check...
Deamand excellents! never settle!

Idk. Not bunting when Deichmann came up is pretty dumb. Taking out Sciambra was pretty dumb. Letting Chinea swing away against a new pitcher who had just thrown 4 straight balls was stupid.
This shite isn't hindsight people. It's coaching 101. The base running shite was luck. That stuff happens. If we lose a game that way, I can live with it. But this games was lost 7 different times. And 5 of them were on the coach going with his gut instead of percentages. That's not really debatable. Which is obvious by so few actually debating those points. Instead they're falling back on "flukes" and "none of you are coaches". Excellent talking points there. Really convincing people that PM didn't frick up numerous times.

Way to completely miss the point.

There's no doubt he made a lot poor decisions last night that affected the outcome.
But I'm not going to act like a petulant, entitled brat over one game of baseball in the middle of the season.

You honestly defending cpm in this discussion?

People probably wouldn't be talking like this if it was just one game. But this comes after stoney brook and houston and as recently as ole miss. Hell, even even tried to frick up at southern by killin the DH yet again after making the same mistake the weekend before.

No. Just generally laughing at the air of superiority of some in here in that they think they're some baseball authority and they're doing some civic duty by "keeping in check" PM and his decisions. It was our fourth loss and people are legitimately up in arms. A little perspective doesn't hurt people. But I'll keep enjoying the melt, don't get me wrong.

It was really an awful game for Paul but I'm over it.

How does criticizing cpm make someone entitled or a brat? This is sports and a message board...we cheer when we win and bitch when we lose.

If you don't understand the discussion, stay out. I'm sure it's over your head, and that's okay. But no reason to get involved if you can't give an opinion other than, "well, he's da coach so I guess he must be right, and you all are being stupid. Heh heh"

People are checking in this thread to complain about what we've seen from CPM his entire career. It's not about the one loss and it's not a meltdown. Quit being so dramatic about it. Learn how to just move on if you don't want to bitch.

I think it's more to do with the past 4 or 5 years than just our 4th loss this year. It's a cause for concern imo.
