I'm going to say the 2006 team like the 1969 team were among if not the best LSU teams in history.

The 2007 team was devastated with injuries, yet came back to be NCs...look at the first 3 games and the last game against OSU when they were basically healthy.I have never been prouder of an LSU team

2011 had great talent, The special teams were completely awesome and the defense as well. I'm done crying over the rematch that year on what was clearly Bama's best team.

The 2012 team reminded me of the 1982 team, both could have been NC type teams.

This year it all comes down to QB play, I am a bit worried about the DE and LB and WR positions. I think LSU has talent at all of them, but I want to see what they can do.

The QB play is the key.

I think a lot of people forget how loaded that 2006 team was. The 2011 team was special. The 2006 team was incredibly talented. It's a shame either one of those teams lost a game.

So was 12, coupled with suspensions to a hand full of players.
