The proposed budget cuts are real, but the worst case scenarios that these articles keep floating are not. LSU is just trying to drum up public support by using scare tactics to keep Jindal's budget from passing. Even if the worst case scenario did happen they would close all the satellite campuses first.
The university would also go private before it shut down?

just what i was about to post. Alec, Shreveport, and Eunice would all be shut down before they even thought about touching Baton Rouge.
im shocked how many people are falling for this "worst case scenario" crap
