I know you guys have answered this a million times, but I finally have joined the next-gen crowd. I realize a bunch of games have come out recently. My favorite genres are RPG, like Dragon's Dogma and FF10, and Action, like the Drake's series and Assassin's Creeds. I also play FFXIV on my PC.

Shadow of Mordor is a pretty awesome game if you're a casual gamer. Dragon Age is a great RPG.

AC4:Black Flag was awesome...at least to me. For whatever reason, AC "purists" seem to diss it.

The games I have so far are:
Watch Dogs (Assassin's Creed w/ hacking...not bad, but no replay value)
MGSV:Ground Zeroes (very short demo-type game, but I love the series and it's very fun)
The Last of Us: Remastered (60fps, Grounded Mode)
Black Flag (Loved it...like a cool Pirates of the Caribbean)
Far Cry 4 (great FPS game)
Shadow of Mordor (reminded me a little of AC, but some really innovative game play)
GTAV (I had it for PS3, but the updated stuff is great)
Dying Light (meh, it's ok, but I have to force myself to finish it)

I had COD:AW for about 2 hours, returned it, beat myself for being suckered into buying it. Same thing with The Evil Within. Awful.

I would suggest you jump into the PS Store and download "P.T.". I think it's still free for PS+ members. It's a short demo for the next Silent Hills game. Simple design, some complex puzzle-solving, and the scariest "game" I've ever played.

Anyway, congrats on moving up to the current gen!
