I can't imagine a guy saying this, then going back into the other room and acting like everything was normal.

This part of the article makes me wonder....

I've seen how a 12 yr old can swing a bat. They can generate a good deal of power, enough to at least create some pretty significant bruises if they were to hit you. And if she's swinging a bat at him and making contact the natural defensive reaction on his part would be to put his arm up to block the hit, thus creating a bruise or bruises on his arms. I wonder if anyone noticed any bruising on him after the night in question. If they did, that could be corroborating evidence to her story.
