Tom gets no love. Probably the most under rated and under talked about coach in the NFL.
How's jax doing these days?
The talking heads all think he's some kind of cute coaching dinosaur.

That was more of a joke about the tripping incident. He's got a pretty good track record of getting his team to the Super Bowl and winning overall, that counts for a lot. That's me not even talking about his first year in to win it all, because you get in the same argument that LSU fans get in about Les Miles, "he inherited a good team" nonsense.

I look forward to reading some of the other stuff that author has written.

That is a well written list

Only one I disagree with is Tomlin. I just don't think he's a great coach. So, I'd have SP one spot higher.

Not saying he inherited a good team. I just think that the reason the Steelers have been relevant over the years has been because of LeBeau's defense and not Tomlin's coaching ability.

Don't disagree about LaBeau's contributions to the defense. Being a linebacker, he was one of my "throwback" favorites at the position, and I grew up loving Sam Mills. As far as getting a team ready to play and win, you still have to have an on-field coach to put it all together.

End of game? It's like people didn't watch the Seattle game a couple months ago
He was a joke that entire game.

Tomlin is indeed top 10, believe it or not there is more to being a head coach than being a great offensive mind. You have to manage your organization as a whole with a fairly smaller stick than the GM. SP is a great coach but Tomlin has done a better job on compiling a well rounded team. He's great in assessing you talent, and how he wins with Big Ben at qb i'll never know. They finished 2nd in total defense and 3rd in total offense in 2014, the other two teams in that conversation played a super bowl. What more do you want.

I don't want people to think my opinion of him was entirely shaped by that game. He's made boneheaded decisions like that his entire HC career

to be fair thought how many times have we watched Sean pass the ball 3 downs inside the 5yard line and settle for a FG.
